Penny’s Pumpkin Ale

I love pumpkin beers. Sadly, most commercial pumpkin beers and ales contain cinnamon, to which I am quite allergic. So I decided to make my own, based off of a clone recipe for Brooklyn Brewery’s Post Road Pumpkin Ale in September 2014’s issue of Brew Your Own Magazine.

Art Every Day – Day 11

It’s funny how committing to 15 minutes a day of art expands into much more than a mere 15 minutes. But it’s fun.

Today’s work is a little shift away from the fish project I’ve been working on to the elegram project that the Nature Conservancy has been putting on. The idea is to gather 20,000 artistic renditions of elephants in return for $23,000+ in funds to help protect elephants from poaching in Africa.

Magnetic Wisdom

Today, I got my grubby fingers on one of those sets of magnetic words that people use to make creative poetry on their refrigerators. This particular set is from an office products catalog.

We generated some wisdom and left in on the blackboard in the lab. I thought I should share.
