Leafy Tuesday – Starting Seeds

It’s mid-March. The official start of spring is but a few days away. (Though I’ll believe it when I see it.)

I want it to be spring – and summer – pretty badly. I don’t think there’s enough lotion in the world to make my poor dry skin feel good again. I welcome humidity. And thunderstorms. And mud.

Why is February So Miserable?

March is half over. Spring is (nominally) in the near future (though with the chilly temperatures, it’s hard to imagine).

#Vulcan – March’s Lion

I have now had the pleasure of enduring my first-ever official blizzard. The weather was completely miserable. It wasn’t the snow, it was the wind that made it so uncomfortable.

I decided to take it upon myself to take photos of the same subject at regular intervals in order to capture the depth of snow. The snow didn’t get terribly deep, but the drifts got huge.

Transitional Forms – The Case of the Fish-ibian Part Two

Maybe it’s just that I’m paying more attention to it these days, but it sure feels like there’s a lot of talks, and legislation, and debates, regarding the concept of “Creationism” in contrast to “Science.” Creationism is this idea that the Earth and everything on it were created by some supernatural means. There are lots of religions what include some manner of creation story.
