What Would I Be? Sir Oxford Comma

National Blog Posting Month – September 2014 – Crunch

Prompt – If you had unlimited resources and artistic skills, what would you want to be for Halloween?

——

Given that I’m an avid costumer, one would think this would be an easy question to answer.

And it is.

I want full 14th century armor. It’s not the plate armor of the Renaissance, but more a combination of a brigandine, maille, elbow and knee cops and other things.

But it’d be made of proper, period materials. It’d be fitted to me. It’d be in my colors (yellow and blue).

It’d be totally awesome and completely functional.

In the absence of that, I’d like to be Sir Oxford Comma – a costume I’ll actually create eventually. I did a sketch of it back in May:

Sir Oxford Comma costume. Requires three things in a list. Now, how to suspend the lance and ropes?

Yes, it’s a terrible visual pun, involving at least three items in a list. Likely no one would get it without me having to explain it. But it’d be totally worth it!
