Orange Rhymes with Door-Hinge

Prompt – Orange is a colour that people either hate or love: tell us how you feel about it.

Orange.

It’s not a bad color, necessarily.

We have a giant orange cat that we love.

And, of course, pumpkin flavored things are orange. And many of the trees this time of year.

In terms of a color that I would really use for anything, however, it’s not my favorite.

Orange clothes make my skin appear to turn green. I find this rather… unappealing.

And orange’s reminder of the fall season always makes me a little sad. Winter is not my favorite time of year, despite my best efforts to make due, so fall is always a little depressing to me.

So do I like orange? Not particularly. But I’ll keep it nevertheless.
