Our plan this morning had been to head to the Natural Trap Cave site and set up camp. Well, things didn’t work out that way.
It’s always something.
My team was ready to go last night.
So it’s one more night in Lovell, then on to Naural Trap in the morning.
We did get out and visit the site for the first time. If I was excited yesterday, well I’m a lot more now.
First view of the the entrance to Natural Trap Cave. It’s blocked by an ominous grate. This dangling guy is the counterweight to the door in the grate through which we’ll enter the cave. We’re ‘stuck’ with the ‘awful’ view from our work- and campsite. Bummer for us.
Tomorrow, we head up for real. We’ve worked out the glitch that kept us in town today and shouldn’t have much trouble getting in tomorrow.

I love that shot of the boots. And I’m glad you all are SO brave re: enduring that view. You guys are TOUGH! =) Best of luck!
