A successful second full day in The Breaks.
We’ve completed one measured section (about 180 meters) and have one more similar-lengthed section to go.
We spent a little time at a couple of my favorite fossil localities, searching for additional specimens of Fractinus palmorem. No luck as usual, but fun nevertheless.
The weather was moderately cooperative with a light breeze and cool temperatures. It was still hot though.
Glad to be back at camp for the night. I have a great crew who are getting the job done with enthusiasm.
