Are they for putting on your walking poles? I had to use something like this when I walked the Inca Trail.

Ooh! You’re on the right track. You’ve got the scale a little wrong though. They’re about the size of your fingernail, so would be too small to fit on a walking pole.

Alas, they’re not erasers. However, that is about the right size and they do go on the tip of something!
