My son is an amazing kid. We have our struggles, as does everyone, but he has some particular issues given that he’s on the Autism spectrum and has ADHD. This Old Barn

Friday was a lovely day, and I caught myself surveying the property as I always do on the first reasonably warm and dry day of spring. Our house is old, built in 1835, and was once the primary farm house for a very large property. Anxiety, Risk, and Swordplay

This month’s National Novel Writing Month (NaBloPoMo) theme is ‘risk.’ All of the prompts are focused upon the concept of taking risks, accepting that even a slight chance of success is worth risking failure.
