This paper is a discussion of how to grow economies while cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
Why does it matter?
With growing evidence of human induced climate change, it’s important to think about what we can do to mitigate our effects of the environment. Currently, many economies depend upon the use of fossil fuels. This paper is about the need to decrease the use of fossil fuels in such a way that does not impede economic growth.
Why did I read this?
The President of the United States – my president – Barack Obama wrote this paper and published it in a scientific journal. That’s all the reason I needed.
