X is for Zhen Xu – Biomedical Engineer

Zhen Xu is a biomedical engineer at the University of Michigan.

Her research focus is on the use of ultrasound methods for medical treatments instead of scalpels and catheters. One application is for the removal of blood clots. These ultrasound methods can also be used prenatally.
