The story that this post tells is only part of the story. Spell’s had some struggles, but she came right up to me and my son and immediately started purring and rubbing on us. That night, Spell came home to live with us.

The first thing she did was hide.

Spell’s new hidey-hole.

Within 24 hours she was moving around the room and interacting as one might predict with our other cat, Toby (who’s 13).
