Last Wednesday started with some difficulty.
Cried about missing Charlie this morning. Can tell that Toby is lonely. Time to adopt another cat.

I decided to boldly look to see if there was any cat out there that needed me. I immediately found this:
The story that this post tells is only part of the story. Spell’s had some struggles, but she came right up to me and my son and immediately started purring and rubbing on us. That night, Spell came home to live with us.
So this happened. Meet Spell. She’s an 8-year-old darling who’ll need time to warm up to the rest of the family. pic.twitter.com/dlNWBslJFH

The first thing she did was hide.

Within 24 hours she was moving around the room and interacting as one might predict with our other cat, Toby (who’s 13).

As long as she stays off the bed, Spell and Toby get along just fine.

She’s made herself right at home…

And ponders future days…

Welcome to your new home, Spell! We’re excited about spending many years together!
