Horses

It’s possible to trace where I am now to stories my mother first told me when I was around four years old. I only vaguely remember that time. But I remember being in love with horses.

I had some toy horses.

Then I drew horses. (And I still do.)

A sketch I drew one day in our department's weekly seminar.

Then I did whatever I could to be around horses.

Including, but not limited to, paying money for a jousting horse ride at the local ren faire.

And now, hopefully, horse ownership is in my future, with the beginnings of Second Guess Farm.

Today, we went to Palmya’s Canaltown Days to see the horse and carriage parade. Totally a great trip. Here’s some pics.
