Random Cake

It started with a friend’s Facebook post. A cake. A delicious, delectable cake. I needed cake.

I texted the husband. Cake was necessary.

The discussion continued. It escalated until…

Cake was on the way!

Now, I’m not a huge sweets eater. But for whatever reason, I needed cake. And, lo, there it was!

Now all we needed was a good reason to celebrate. The most obvious reason was suggested by many: We’re still here. So why not celebrate?

But my favorite excuse to celebrate is that it just happens to be Argyle Day. So happy Argyle Day, and enjoy some cake with us!
