Yesterday, we visited the St. Augustine Alligator Farm.

Gators and other crocodylians aren’t the only archosaurs there. There’s a ton of local bird species as well.
The Alligator Farm is a special place for us, as it is the site of my husband’s and my third date – the date that clinched the deal, 14+ years ago. This time we brought our son.
We saw some local geology.

As advertized, there were alligators.

They decorated this tree for Christmas.

Some cranes with fabulous hair-dos.

This guy taught me when I was an undergraduate, I’m pretty sure.

And there was one not-an-archosaur, for good measure.

It was a fun day with the gators.
