Prompt – Describe the most comfortable piece of furniture that you own.

When we bought this house 8.5 years ago, it was full of some lovely furniture. The man from whom we bought it was 94 years old and trying to liquidate his furnishings. We bought some of them from him as we purchased the house.

Among them was this chair.

I love this chair. It’s so cozy.

Yes, the upholstery is old, and now a bit cat-scratched courtesy of our feline house-mates. But it’s still very comfortable.

I like to sit in this chair with my laptop and write. Or watch TV. Or read.

It’s a little hard to eat in this chair. It’s a little too reclined.

But it’s a very comfortable chair.
