Day of Rest? Hah!

I’m glad tomorrow is  holiday. I need a break after today.

Today I accomplished two major things: I mowed the lawn and I worked on my armor.

The husband put together a very large and sturdy brooder to move the chicks into in a couple of days (see yesterday’s post). We’re up to 32 chicks. Holy cow.

We rounded out the day by searching for any restaurant that was open at ten o’clock. We finally found Chicago Uno. Whew!

Tomorrow’s Memorial Day. I hope I manage to get some rest!
